Counselling

Available In-Person or Online

What is Counselling?

Counselling is an opportunity to talk through any issues you are currently experiencing in a safe, empathetic, and non-judgemental space. There is also an opportunity to talk about your past experiences and find solutions that work for you.

You may have multiple concerns that you want to talk through. That is perfectly fine – Karen can support you to unpack each of them, one at a time, at your pace.

Sessions can be organised to suit your needs. Karen offers Online, In Person or Telephone Counselling.

Counselling isn’t a ‘one size fits all’ approach and each person may want something different from their sessions. This is where Karen can offer you any or all of the types of counselling below. Expand each section to find out more and see which approach might be best for you. Alternatively reach out today for a FREE 15 minute chat with Karen to talk through your options.

Is Counselling right for me?

Life can be like a rollercoaster – it has it’s ups and downs, but sometimes it can become overwhelming. Do you hear yourself saying any of these statements:

  • “I can’t cope”

  • “I’ve had enough”

  • “I can’t do this anymore”

  • “Why is this happening to me?”

  • “I can’t stop worrying about......”

  • “I’m not good enough”

  • “He/She/They don’t understand”

If you do find yourself relating to any of these thoughts then you may benefit from Counselling. Karen is available to support you with your Counselling journey.

Walk and Talk Therapy

Some clients  prefer to be out in nature, rather than sat face-to-face in a therapy room. Being in nature has numerous benefits including reducing the anxiety of sitting in a room, increasing endorphins, promoting relaxation and increasing creativity.
